The George S Stoneman School building, under construction, will be finished by week’s end. Contractor J F Kobler expects completion soon. The eight room facility includes a kitchen, cafeteria, laundry and a principal’s room. The kindergarten features Lucile Lloyd murals and the buff tinted concrete exterior enhances its appearance. Architects Marsh Smith Powell. The school will not open this month but will be used in September with grounds landscaped and shrubs planted.
