San Marino celebrates its 85th anniversary on April 25 1998 with city events while the San Marino Historical Society marks its 25th birthday on July 4 1998. The city was incorporated April 25 1913 after rancher-patton meetings and signatures. Founding mayor Patton and Huntington died in 1927 as the society preserves local heritage.
