The Pacific Telephone and Telegraph Company invites residents to a Tuesday May 15 open house at the Alhambra central office 21 South First Street. From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. visitors will tour the building with trained staff showing telephone operations from the business office to the basement storage battery and terminal room on the third floor.
