Shirley Law of San Marino wins the ACSA Golden Apple Award for year recognition of community volunteers supporting education. She has served as PTA treasurer at multiple schools, chaired a local foundation, and aided the San Marino Chinese Club and district programs. Her husband Konrad leads Sea Ranger Corporation in Wilmington. they live on Kensington Road with daughter Eleanor, an eighth grader at Huntington Intermediate.

San MarinoVarsity Boys’ Swim Team captured its 18th straight league crown with 359 points, edging South Pasadena at 255. Dan Kanner set two league records in the 500 and 100 free, while Dan Wong and Jason Dizon qualified for CIF in multiple events.
