The trained parrot Miss Oriole, claimed by Mrs. Andrew L. Gram of Los Robles avenue after last week’s article, resumed life with the Gram family. The bird, once fledgling in their care, eats any food and can scold misbehaving family members in bird language. Separately, a string of palm tree fires from 11 p.m. Friday stretched the city fire department, with six trees and one grass fire reported at intersections including San Gabriel boulevard and Sommerset, all extinguished quickly.

Miniature Engines Recovered and To Be Returned
