The San Marino Planning Commission reopened a two year project at the northeast corner of California Blvd and Bonita Ave to review objections to the one completed home in a three lot subdivision approved July 22, 1992. Only Parcel 2 was built after one year and the others required new DR C approval, which was denied March 2. Architects and neighbors discussed revisions to roof height, appearance, and lot constraints while the Building Department voiced concerns about materials and design.

San Marino police report an April 21 burglary in the 2200 block of Los Robles Ave netting more than $24,000 in stereo equipment, a computer, jewelry and cash with no suspects found after no latent prints.
