Chief James Moore of San Marino was elected President of the San Gabriel Valley Police Chiefs Association at an April meeting. He has 14 years as a Chief of Police and 2 years as a police officer, and is a graduate of California State University Los Angeles. The association includes Chiefs from 20 San Gabriel Valley cities and aims to pool expertise for the benefit of residents.
The US Weather Service projects mostly sunny conditions today through the weekend with some variable cloudiness on Friday. Daytime highs reach the upper 70s to low 80s and overnight lows dip into the 50s.
