Teen Canteen Aims to Offer After School Recreation
The San Marino Teen Canteen enters its second week in temporary homes St. Edmund's Episcopal Church and San Marino Community Church with nearly 400 youths weekly from 3 to 6 pm and 8 to 11 pm on Fridays. Teen Age Council President Dan Neale describes it as a teenage youth center for after school and weekend recreation and social activities. Funds are sought to cover operating costs as the group plans a permanent organization with a constitution and by laws.
