Stirling Elevated to Vice President at Homart Development
Christopher T. Stirling has been promoted to vice-president for Office Building and Multi-Use Development in the Western Region at Homart Development Co. He oversees acquisition development construction marketing and leasing in downtown Los Angeles Glendale Pasadena and San Fernando Valley markets. Stirling is managing the 750000 square foot Glendale City Center project with an 18 story first phase set for completion in late 1991. He holds a BS from the University of Redlands and an MBA from USC. Stirling and his wife Tina live with their 16 month old son Geoffrey on Fleur Drive.

San Marino Recreation Department opens registration for the swim program for district residents ages three and up. Pre tests for non card holders and first timers are at San Marino High School pool May 29 to 31 from 5 to 7 p.m. Two week sessions run June 25 through August 31, with tiny tots and non swimmer classes and 25 July entry fees.

The San Marino High School boys varsity swim team dominated the El Dorado Invitational with 288 points, well ahead of second place at 171. Dan Kanner set a meet record and two junior San Marino records in the 200-yard individual medley and 100-yard butterfly, while Jason Dizon qualified for CIF in the 100-yard freestyle. The meet opened with two medley relay teams and featured strong performances across events including Kanner first in the 200 IM, Sakamoto fifth, Munoz eighth, and Dizon posting top times in sprints.

Local Girls Win 13 Medals At San Gabriel Valley Meet
San Marino girls won 13 medals at the San Gabriel Valley Municipal Athletic Association Track Meet held April 28 at Mountain View High School in El Monte. Standout performers included Ude Crumrine and Anthony, with multiple golds in sprints and relays, and the 1981 squad accounting for most medals. The next event is the SCMIAA Finals May 26 at UC Riverside.
