Five women honored at Pasadena YWCA Second Century Awards Luncheon

Muellerschoen Named VP at E F Hutton

George J. Muellerschoen II was appointed vice president of E F Hutton & Company Inc, announced by chairman Robert Fomon. Richards Disputes Parent's Complaint About Grading

San Marino school officials dispute a parent's claim that high school teachers grade too hard. At an April meeting Dr Michael Patzakis argued SMHS grades on a curve hurt college admissions, while Principal Richards and Superintendent Brown defended grading practices and noted SAT and GPA alone do not define college readiness. Nowak Named Assistant City Manager in San Marino

John Nowak was hired as assistant city manager for San Marino, starting April 22 at a $34,990 annual salary. He previously served as assistant to the city manager in Lancaster for over three years and will move to Monrovia soon.
