Easter Sunrise Service Returns To Lacy Park
Karl W. Griffen, Protestant chaplain for the Claremont Colleges, will speak at San Marino Easter Sunrise Service at 6 a.m. Sunday in Lacy Park. Sponsored by San Marino Community, San Marino Congregational and St Edmund's Episcopal churches, the event invites locals and visitors to attend the memory of Christ's Resurrection with special music and a unique setting. Griffen, a Princeton and Rutgers graduate, serves as Altadena pastor and Pasadena psychotherapist.

Chamber Hosts Mixer On April 7
The San Marino Chamber of Commerce will hold its first mixer on Thursday April 7 at 7 pm. It will be hosted by First Presbyterian of South Pasadena at 25 Huntington Drive San Marino. A $4 donation will be charged and refreshments will be served.

Middlekauff Named New Director of Huntington Library
Dr Robert Middlekauff of UC Berkeley will head the Huntington Library Art Gallery and Botanical Gardens, succeeding Dr James Thorpe on Sept 1. Thorpe retires in August after leading since 1966. The San Marino Rotary Club hosts the fifth annual Run for Fun on Saturday April 16 through the city streets. Open to men women and children plus joggers. entry is 15 4 for pre April 3 until April 3 15 4 with a commemorative shirt. Day registrations are 8 for the run only.
