New Security-First Bank Branch Planned For San Marino
A banking building is planned at the southwest corner of San Marino avenue and Huntington drive to house the San Marino branch of Security-First National Bank of Los Angeles. Architect Sumner Hunt has submitted plans for a Mediterranean styled structure with colored stucco walls, cut stone entrance, tiled floors and roof, and a modern low counter. The new branch will open by July 1 and expands the bank’s offices to 122 nationwide.

The Huntington P T A's Fathers Night drew nearly 500 San Marinans to the new Huntington School auditorium for a staged drama Reveries of San Marino set in 1843 in the San Gabriel Valley. San Marino hosts Commodore J. Stuart Blackton's March of the Movies at Huntington School Auditorium with showings at 3:30 PM and 8:00 PM. Tickets cost 10 cents for children and 25 cents for adults.
