Dedication of Language Lab Opens Major Gifts Drive
The San Marino Schools Foundation launched its first Major Gifts Campaign with a ceremony at the Mericos Foreign Language Center at San Marino High School and a donor reception at the Holladay estate. A $100,000 Mericos Foundation grant funded the center, with a goal of $2.5 million in five years to support district master plan initiatives including language and math curriculum, teacher support, and a building program.

The Zamorano Press broadside marks early California printing, a noted artifact from Agustin Zamorano’s press established in Monterey.
