The Saddle and Boot Club of San Marino reports rapid progress toward new premises with added units planned as Marcestae grows. Miss Rosiland Johnstone becomes twelfth member and official instructor, a 125 by 250 foot riding ring will be built, bridle paths linked to nearby routes, a new men’s club room with showers and lockers, and ongoing landscaping. City officials face no opposition as nominations end with seven hundred twenty nine registered voters eligible. Polls open April 9 at 7:00 a.m. and close 6:00 p.m. Inspections by Cliffe Mills and Louise Parker with clerks Edna Rees Florence McCullah named for the election.
