Plans Approved For New Library In Sacramento
Sacramento authorities approved plans for a new library building to be erected on the grounds of Henry Huntington Grammar School. Bids will be prepared and the contract let soon, with work expected to finish and the library ready for occupancy by the first of June. The library will have use of the building for two years under an agreement with the school system.

Robbery in Los Angeles Targets San Marino Man
Frank Gogle of 1354 Garfield avenue San Marino was forced against the curb on North Broadway at College street by two bandits in a high powered car. They robbed him of 77 dollars and fled. The incident was reported to police as he returned home Tuesday evening.

Pasadena City Engineer George K. Hooper says San Marino blocks direct connection to Atlantic Boulevard. He claims San Marino holds the key and will not cooperate with Pasadena on street extensions and improvements such as Lake Avenue via Kewen Canyon and the Broadway extension.
