Students Learn Of Jobs In Operation Shadow Shadow project links SMHS and Southwestern Academy students with a wide range of professions
Students from San Marino High School and Southwestern Academy shadow professionals in fields from medicine to law in the annual Operation Shadow program sponsored by the schools, the San Marino Chamber of Commerce, and the Rotary Club. Fifteen hosts worked in medicine and nearly as many in law while 60 percent of the 173 participants were women. Judge Nelson urged planning for a clear career path during the event held last week with 73 hosts from various fields greeting students at 9 a.m. and a keynote at the Hotaru Club.
