George W Bacon Dies at 76 Pioneer San Marino Resident
George W. Bacon 76 longtime San Marino resident died March 5 while recovering from illness at his home 1755 West Haven road. He worked 50 years in Los Angeles City Engineering and helped found the eastern San Marino home. He is survived by his wife Ethel a son Raymond Bacon of Balboa and a daughter Mary Henley of North Long Beach. Funeral services were held March 8 at Bresee Brothers and Gillett Chapel with interment at Inglewood Park Cemetery. The Masonic Clarence Smith Lodge headed the services. He was a member of the Spanish American War Veterans and the Shrine Club born in Bay City Michigan.
