Judge Mackel Goes on Navy Cruise for Pacific Fleet Training

Petty thieves target San Marino garages in two incidents
San Marino police logged two petty thefts from private garages during the past week. Charles E. West reported $137.50 in stolen cameras and gear from a garage on Lorain road, including an Argus camera and a Bill Howell movie cam era. Harold C. Studio Theatre Struck by Flood Damage in San Marino
The San Marino Studio Theatre in Kewen Canyon suffered severe flood damage when overflowing waters undermined the road and the building. A March 18 production of Storm River is postponed likely to be canceled this season, with three planned plays abandoned. One major production will be staged in the large auditorium in May, and patron tickets will be honored.

San Marino school board approved installing photoelectric eyes in all Huntington primary rooms to automate lighting on cloudy days.
