Duffy C Seay district attorney's investigator and Lucas F Smith attorney were in a car ride through Huntley drive Los Angeles when Smith swerved through a heavy road rail off a 100 foot embankment. St Therese Parish Forms New Parent Teacher Association
On February 13 a Parent-Teachers Association was formed by St Therese's parish women. Officers were elected with Mrs. J J Flynn as president. Father Andrews guided the meeting which ended with coffee and cake. Monthly meetings are set for the school hall on the second Tuesday. The next gathering is March 13 at 2 PM. All interested women are invited.

Auto theft recovered by local officer in Los Angeles

Picnic at Huntington Grill Draws San Marinans
Last Saturday the Stoneman P T A held a barbecue and picnic at Huntington Grill for San Marinans. The event raised over 100 dollars, exceeding its budget quota, with more than 1 people served and praise for the fathers who organized games and food. Leftover beans and spaghetti were donated to the Midnight Mission in Los Angeles after the event.
