A heavy rain did not dampen attendance at the Pp. T. A. Fathers and Mothers Night at Henry E Huntington School in San Marino. About 250 parents filled the hall to honor the school spirit with a welcoming program after an hospitality, led by Mrs. W. A. Martin.
Countlman W. L. Valentine proposes banning street parking along the Huntington drive car line. A safety council expert from the Southern California Automobile Club will survey the situation and report to the council, with adoption likely in San Marino and transmission to South Pasadena and Los Angeles.
The Lamanda Park Business Men's Association discussed changing the district name to East Pasadena and voted in favor. City groups may follow suit as they align with John Sherman's plan to redeem the name by changing leadership.
