A heavy rain did not dampen attendance at the Pp. T. A. Fathers and Mothers Night at Henry E Huntington School in San Marino. About 250 parents filled the hall to honor the school spirit with a welcoming program after an hospitality, led by Mrs. W. A. Martin.

Mrs. Alice R. Sharp of Glendale died after driving into an eastbound Southern Pacific passenger train at a crossing in East San Gabriel. Witnesses said the wigwag signal was functioning and she did not brake before the collision. The sedan was wrecked and an inquest was held Tuesday.

Boy 11 Struck While Delivering Papers In Pasadena

David Stanley aged 11 was struck while crossing Mission and Los Robles by a car driven by William Karmonde of Los Angeles. He suffered abrasions and contusions to leg thigh forehead and a brain concussion. After three days in Pasadena hospital he was discharged.
