FDA moves to curb teen smoking with ID checks nationwide
Richard Sonheim of the American Lung Association says the FDA ruling marks the first step to curb tobacco use among youth. Under-27 buyers must show photo ID at cigarette and smokeless tobacco outlets or risk fines and license loss. Antonovich attacks subway as costly for LA transit reforms
