Thomas M. McDaniel Jr., president of Southern California Edison, is named one of five trustees of the Henry E. Huntington Library and Art Gallery by Homer D. Crotty. McDaniel succeeds Dr. Lee A. DuBridge and sits with Crotty Louis Lundberg John OMelveny Jonathan Lovelace and others. McDaniel, born 1916 in Richmond California, is a Stanford graduate and director of Northrop Corporation and advisory Bank of America director. Suspects Held In Burglary Case In San Marino
San Marino police took Russell Blevins and Luther Richards, both teens from nearby cities, into custody on suspicion of attempted burglary at the Herbert Hezlep residence. Officers recovered two pairs of rubber gloves, two flashlights, and a .38 caliber pistol as evidence.
