Local Student Selected for National Leadership Event
San Marino sixth grader Michael McGreal of Mayfield Junior School Pasadena has been chosen to join the National Leadership Conference in Washington DC. The event brings together about 1000 gifted middle school students from the US and 45 countries to study and develop leadership skills. Michael is a Star Scout with San Marino Troop 355 a Cardinals Little League player and soccer fan who recently performed with the Los Angeles Children's Choir at Disney Hall in Faust. He is the son of Tom and Janet McGreal and his sister Jacqueline is a Mayfield Junior student.
