Enthusiasm runs high as San Marino professionals organize a new civic body the San Marino Business and Professional Men's Association. The next meeting at Joy's Inn will occur Tuesday in March with dinner at 6 30 p.m. A nominating committee led by Guy Lauderbaugh and by laws group headed by Sidney Haysler and others prepare a slate and regulations for member approval. Founder's Day Address at Huntington Library Observed
C. H. Collins Baker, authority on British art and Huntington Library staffer, delivered the principal Founder's Day address on February 28. Presented by Dr. Edwin P. Hubble, Baker spoke on "The Founder's Foresight" and noted Huntington's plans realized in the Library and Art Gallery. Funeral for Mrs Donohue Held at Forest Lawn
Mrs Elizabeth Donohue died Sunday February 27 at her daughter Mrs C Floyd Sapper’s home at 2420 Roanoke road. Services were held yesterday at Wee Kirk o the Heather Forest Lawn with Rev Bertrand Crist officiating. Interment followed at Forest Lawn. She was 89 and had lived with her daughter 25 years. Born in Cape Girardeau Missouri she lived in the St Louis area. her husband a Mississippi River pilot and captain predeceased her. Survived by another daughter Mrs Elizabeth A Ford three grandchildren Harvey James Ford Janice Old erich Kenneth F Sapper and seven great grandchildren.
