McKesson Named Judge of Los Angeles Superior Court
Governor Earl Warren appointed William B. McKesson of San Marino to fill the Los Angeles superior court vacancy created by Judge Benjamin J. Scheinman entering military service. McKesson, 2128 Adair Street, is chief trial deputy counsel and chaired the public employees war bond committee for 10 Southern California counties. He was admitted to the bar in 1922 after study at Colorado College and USC, practiced privately five years, then served as deputy county counsel and chief trial deputy for five years. He has sat as judge pro tem in superior court several times and held leadership roles in the Los Angeles County Employees Association San Marino City Club American Legion post and other organizations.
