SM's Fourth of July Parade and Picnic Planned

San Marifo's traditional Fourth of July parade will start at 6 on the fourth at the intersection of Huntington Drive and Monterey Road. The daylong celebration is sponsored by the local Chamber of Commerce with support from the city and recreation department. Family picnic at Lacy Park and parade entertainment are planned, with activities at the park and other city sites.

Parade Formation for July Fourth Parade Scheduled 5 PM

The chamber announces a 5 pm formation time for the July Fourth parade with judging from 5 to 5 30 pm. Dr Kenneth R Veronda and Martin Jorjerman urge residents to arrive early at the west parking bay at San Martin Avenue and Huntington Drive. An entry form is required to participate and can be found on page 4.
