Teachers Vote On San Marino District Contract Offer
Doris Gillespie, president of the San Marino Teachers Association, says 106 members will vote this week on the 1987 88 contract. If approved, retroactive pay starts Sept 1 1987. Ballots were mailed to teachers remaining in the area with votes due mid next week. The panel recommended a five period day at Huntington Junior High and other terms, with three panel recommendations already accepted by the board.

Budget Over A Month In The Making A Weary Council Adopts Budget
The City Council approved a fiscal year 1988-89 operating budget of 6 461 054 with a capital budget of 600 000 and an infrastructure reserve of 150 000. Two Men Arrested After One Arms Empty Gun At Local Police Officer
