Fairy Tales Do Come True Debutante Tea Honors NCL Members
The National Charity League San Marino Area Chapter held its Fairy Tales Do Come True Debutante Tea at the Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles on June 15. More than 600 guests attended as twelve grade Ticktockers and mothers were celebrated for six years of service and mothers joined their daughters for the walk to J Sterling’s Quartet. Proceeds support community groups including Huntington Hospital libraries Ability First and the Pasadena Historical Society with Main Street Attraction in Alhambra aiding funds.

The fourth annual Savor the Flavor raised over $30,000 for the San Gabriel Valley American Red Cross. Hosted by Elmer Dills on ABC 7 and KRLA, the June 7 Rose Bowl event drew 600 guests featuring 40+ restaurants, wineries, and microbreweries. The UCLA Anderson Forecast survey shows 85 percent of respondents saw health care premiums rise by at least 10 percent and 25 percent by more than 20 percent in the past plan year.
