Graves Resigns From San Marino School District Post
Dena Graves assistant superintendent business services will resign at end of June to become Claremont Unified School District business manager. Graves joined San Marino in 1985 from Kingsville Texas where she served as assistant superintendent for finance. Claremont enrolls about 6000 students and operates multiple schools including a high school for general and special education, an adult school and seven grammar schools. Graves resides in Upland with husband and 12 year old twins. Superintendent Gary Richards praised her facilities refurbishing work and said recruiting for her replacement has begun while noting the district must fill the director of maintenance post after Ted Balog retirement.

Hammon And Hallum Named July Fourth Parade Leaders
San Marino officials pick former City Councilmen Ben Hammon and Andrew Hallum as grand marshals for the 75th anniversary Fourth of July Parade.
