Graduating Exercises Informal at Huntington School
Informal graduation exercises were held Tuesday afternoon at the Henry E. Huntington School as news arrived of an immediate school closing. A party for the 22 graduates of the 8-A grade followed with refreshments, then 7-B, 7-1A and 8-B grades presented Class Night dinner scheduled for this evening. The program, themed Travel in Summer, featured an original song by Mrs Thayer's class set to The Man on the Flying Trapeze. The event was not completed due to time constraints.

Auto Crash Day In San Marino Near Huntington
Three Sunday accidents involved out of town drivers in San Marino. The worst crash at West Drive and Huntington left Harry Chase of Los Angeles and Kenneth Koontz of Santa Monica with a severely damaged car. Later fender and bumper damage occurred at Huntington San Gabriel and Huntington Monterey with no injuries.
