The 1990 San Marino Summer School deadline for in person registration is under three weeks away. Huntington School Principal Charles Johnson urges early signups though in person registration remains possible on June 25 at 7Mi Huntington Drive and June 27 at Huntington School Office 1700 Huntington Drive from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The program welcomes children entering kindergarten through grade 12 with innovative courses.

San Marino caped off a 22 0 season by defeating Woodbridge 82 78 to claim the CIF 3A crown. Senior Steve Edmundson and juniors Leonard Lee Matt Rawlins led the charge as San Marino rallied from a 3 all in doubles and benefited from Woodbridge’s four ranked players.

July 4 Parade Tops 1990 Independence Day Festivities

Plans for the 1990 Fourth of July parade move forward with Grand Marshals Louis Creveling and Lois Deines leading a Monterey Road to Virginia Road route into Lacy Park. Parking restrictions will apply on Monterey Road from Virginia Road to Huntington Drive from 4:30 to 6 p.m. The Chamber of Commerce hosts the event with Tom Sullivan's Dixieland and Country Music Band providing music around 6 p.m. Fireworks will close the celebration.
