Ukropina Elected to Lockheed Board, Replaces Retiring Director
James R. Ukropina, president and director of Pacific Enterprises, was named to Lockheed's board to fill the vacancy created when Joseph R. Rensch did not seek re election. The addition expands the 16 member board as Rensch retired as Pacific Lighting Corp president and vice chairman in 1988 after a decade on Lockheed's board. Ukropina has held senior roles at Pacific Lighting and Santa Fe International, and serves as a director of Security Pacific Corporation and its bank affiliate. He earned a BA and MBA from Stanford and a law degree from USC, later practicing at O’Melveny & Myers. He and his wife Lois live on Rosalind Road.
