Huntington hosts Jaffa on causes of Civil War lecture
A Huntington Library program features Harry V. Jaffa of Claremont McKenna College speaking Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. in the Overseers Room. He will discuss political and philosophical causes of the Civil War, drawing on his forthcoming book A New Birth of Freedom Abraham Lincoln and the American Civil War and referencing Crisis of the House Divided.
