Four More Eagles for Local Boy Scout Troops
Four local scouts achieved Eagle rank with projects and future plans. Connor, from San Marino High, earned 32 merit badges and led coats drive as his project. Jeffrey, San Marino graduate, renovated Lacy Park fence for his project and will study Biological Engineering at UC San Diego. Riley contributed tool racks for The Door of Hope in Pasadena while earning multiple leadership roles. Hubert earned 34 merit badges and conducted a hygiene kit drive for Los Angeles Mission. he engaged in Science Olympiad and music groups at San Marino High.

Westfield Santa Anita plans a spring 2009 opening for the Promenade with 30 new shops boosting the mall by 300,000 square feet as part of a six hundred thousand square foot expansion. Evans Begins Interim Head Term at Westridge School
