New Goals Adopted By School Board
San Marino Board of Education adopted goals for 1986 87 and set opening and closing dates for the new school year. School begins Sept 9 and ends June 18 1987 with 180 instructional days. Goals cover board superintendent relations community relations staff curriculum and instruction business management and facilities. Knox Cologne named to Fiscal Forward Planning committee. A review of maintenance items in the tentative 1986 87 budget was conducted.

Yellow Book Road Summer Reading Program at San Marino Library
The San Marino Public Library hosts a Summer Reading Program themed Follow the Yellow Book Road directed by Jody Blum. Children read 12 books by Sept. 5, report on six, and advance after three reads.
