Safety Island At Ridgeway Reconstruction Plan
The city’s street department builds a small island on Huntington drive north side to improve traffic flow at the wide intersection. Upon completion westbound turns into SS a will be possible and traffic will be directed to the normal intersection with Ridgeway and San Marino avenues. Two-way traffic will prevail and hazards reduced. Work has begun on the north side, leveling the highway ahead of paving. The sole bidder is the only local company engaged in this work.
