Judge rules city need not pay association legal fees
Superior Court Judge Stephan ONeil ruled the Greenwood Homeowners Association cannot collect more than 62 000 in legal fees from the City of San Marino. The suit seeks annexation negotiations and tax revenue sharing with Los Angeles County. The city plans to appeal to LAFCO.

Kagetaka Sasafu becomes vice president and manager of Union Bank Little Tokyo in downtown Los Angeles. He moved from The Bank of Tokyo in June, after joining Bank of Tokyo in 1965 and serving in Japan and the United States. Formerly deputy general manager of Tokyo’s Hibiya Office, he previously worked in California First Bank’s Japanese Corporate Department from 1981 to 1986.
