Scouts To Take Tour Of Japan

The Lobo Patrol of Boy Scout Troop 1213 flew by chartered jet for a three week Japan stay. They join about 20 000 scouts from many nations at the World Boy Scout Jamboree at Asagiri Heights near Mount Fuji. The group will tour Tokyo and Kyoto for 10 days before the encampment under patrol leader Mark Lester. Members include Bruce Anderson John Barger Frank Taylor John Wallace David Muks Calvin Rinard and Jack Russell.

Service Station Hit By Gunman

A lone gunman robbed Mas ter's Super Shell Service on Huntington drive of about 150 dollars. Attendant Greg Ritchie, 22, of Pasadena, was closing after 10 pm when the suspect, a Caucasian in his early 20s, threatened him with a pistol and ordered him to surrender the cash. Ritchie said the thief told him to lie down for five minutes, then fled. police were alerted. The man wore a yellow long sleeve shirt blue jeans and brown boots. no getaway vehicle seen.

Two Burglaries Reported In San Marino

Two San Marino homes were burglarized this past week. James M Duvall of Carlaris Road reported a portable color television and a tape recorder missing. Loss of money jewelry and fur items were reported by the owner on Garfield Avenue. The crime was reported last Thursday.
