Mrs. Catherine Wright Brown died July 3 after a brief illness at Pasadena Hospital. She was active in Pasadena civic and charitable groups including the Junior League and Pasadena Civic Relief. During World War I she served two years in France in the Red Cross canteen service near the front. She is survived by her husband, son James Spencer Brown III, daughter Adaline Wright Brown, sister Mrs. Palmer Fuller, and brother Howard W. Wright. Funeral services were held at the Brown home.
