San Marino Aviator Wins Suit Against Gas Dealers
Dunkin and Mills sued Mrs Florence Lowe Barnes, San Marino aviator, claiming they delivered a superior grade of gas for her plane. The San Gabriel lower court ruled for the dealers but an appeal to the Los Angeles Superior Court overturned it. Barnes testified she could tell gas grade by smell and the suit sought the difference in price between grades.
