Auzers to Lead Fidelity West Coast Municipal Desk
Fidelity Investments names Peter J. Auzers vice president and manager of municipal trading and underwriting for the western region. Based in Los Angeles, the desk opens July 20 to expand Fidelity Capital Markets' retail and institutional activity in California and beyond. Auzers, a San Marino resident with 18 years in finance, previously led Prudential Securities West and was Sutro & Co public finance chief. He also presided over the Los Angeles Bond Club from 1990 to 1991.

Tragedy Strikes San Marino Couple in Idaho Plane Crash
Long-time San Marino residents Richard and Patricia Sinclair died in a July plane crash in the Colt Creek area of Idaho. The experienced pilots, flying a light twin-engine aircraft from El Monte to Kalispell, Montana, encountered severe weather near the Continental Divide. They were reported missing by the Idaho Bureau of Aeronautics and found six days later after an extensive air and ground search using mounted units, helicopters, and fixed-wing aircraft.
