R Michael Lindsay of Los Robles Avenue received the Los Angeles County Probation Department outstanding employee award for work with Highland Park and Eagle Rock juveniles. As a Glendale Foothill unit staff member and former Central Juvenile Hall counselor, he earned praise for Decency Day efforts with readership classes and teens repairing area defacements.
One special event a week is planned at Stoneman School playground while the regular arts and crafts on Tuesdays continue. Groneman playground opens to the public from $ to T2 aom, per the recreation directors.
