Boy Scouts Leave for Camp Cherry Valley Island

Building permits issued in the first week of July totaled 49 816 led by Beach D Lyon 1235 Old Mill Road for a 19 500 English style house. The month’s first week also included a 5800 California Colonial at 2605 Sycamore for Thomas E Fields with Los Angeles ties and Leonard C Woelz as contractor. Wife of Tribune Editor's Son Passes Away
Agnes Bradley Collins, wife of Charles Franklin Collins and daughter in law of Franklin W. Collins, died in her Los Angeles apartment after a long illness. A Cork Ireland native, she came to America with her sister Mary, lived in Boston before moving to California, and was married eighteen years ago. Funeral services will be private at the San Gabriel Mission with interment in its cemetery.

An automobile traveling east on Huntington drive Sunday July 6 crashed across the Pacific Electric tracks in Pasadena. George William Haffner of 336 South San Gabriel Boulevard narrowly escaped serious harm as the car careened and bounced along the right of way before coming to a stop.
