San Marino Crowell Public Library Dedication Honors Supporters
San Marino celebrated the opening of the Crowell Public Library a 29000 square foot, state of the art facility after a $4 million Crowell donation. City leaders praised community partnership as civic leaders and residents filled the indoor ceremony at the San Marino Center with nearly 700 attendees.

K L Carver School Receives Achievement Proclamation
The San Marino Unified School District Board honored K L Carver School with a proclamation on January 22 for being the top ranked elementary in Los Angeles County for 2006 07. State Budget Crisis Threatens San Marino Schools
San Marino Unified School District warns of deep California budget cuts hurting K-12 funding. Governor proposals include 50 percent per-student reductions in 2007-2008 and suspending Prop 98 in 2008-2009, risking revenue losses of up to 2.5 million for the district.
