Jackson W. Chance 48 a prominent California lawyer died at his San Marino avenue home after months of illness. A Berkeley UC graduate and 1931 UC Law School alumnus he served on the Los Angeles bar association board and was elected to the State bar board in 1952. Survived by Ruth Shirley his mother Mrs. Robert Chance brother Gene Chance and sister Mrs. Munroe Shaw. Funeral services held Wednesday at All Saints Episcopal church Pasadena.
