Captain Lionel B. Potter, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lionel W. Potter, returns home after 13 months in the South Pacific. He earned the Air Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster and the Distinguished Flying Cross with Oak Leaf Cluster for 20 combat missions aboard a B-24 Liberator. Potter, married to Janice of Beaumont, Texas, joined the Air Force in 1942 and was promoted to captain in November. He will report for duty assignment soon, likely in the States.
