Police hold lost child for anxious parents
A two and a half year old girl, Elizabeth Park of Pasadena, wandered from her parents Tuesday afternoon and was found by a passing motorist near the P. E. Oak Knoll tract. San Marino Players Open 1935 Season With Peter the Great

A patchwork grand drape of silk and velvet pieces sewn by 28 workers will be drawn during the next two weeks of Peter the Great at the San Marino Studio Theater. Interior decorator Scott Calvin Ashmore assembled 28 squares into the curtain and will oversee the first drawing on Monday January 28. Peg Campbell led donor efforts with 28 San Marino women who contributed square pieces.

First Court Of Honor In San Marino
San Marino's inaugural Court of Honor will be held next Wednesday night January 30 at the Huntington School cafeteria. Ceremonies begin at 8 o'clock under the San Marino City Club and American Legion sponsorship with the San Marino Community Scout Committee directing. Stanley Arndt will preside as director and Troop 3 chairman. The program includes opening ceremonies, national anthem, troop introductions, scout oath, scout laws, merit badge and class awards, star awards, and more with various troop leaders and chairmen named.

Daylight thief active near Bohannon's store
A slick thief who swindled the Bohannon's attendant last week with currency and checks remains at large. Investigations continue as a young man matching the description is suspected in similar thefts elsewhere.
Snowball thief arrested by Oakland police
Thirteen year old Alhambra boy Miner Chase was arrested in Oakland on vagrancy charges and held for Los Angeles County on a felony accusation over the Snowball theft from Henry F. Stowe of Monterey road. He is also sought by Alhambra on a burglary charge and was previously picked up in Dallas and Oklahoma.
