Born May 6 1880 Kansas City MO she moved to California 1910 lived in Berkeley and San Marino since 1929. She helped found San Marino Woman's Club and Garden Club and knew Mrs Harry Truman. Survived by son Carlos Bee and daughter-in-law Mrs Carlos Bee five grandchildren and sister Miss Jessie McDearmon. Benjamin McDearmon Bee predeceased her.

County Superintendent C. C. Trillingham announced the appointment of Bruce Alexander to the unexpired term on the South Pasadena-San Marino high school board following Homer I. Mitchell’s resignation. Alexander, born in Edgar Nebraska, holds an engineering degree from the University of Nebraska and an MBA from Harvard. He previously led Brown Citrus Machinery Corp in Whittier and has lived at 2859 Cumberland Road with his wife and two children enrolled at Carver school.
