Final rites for Arthur Daggett Jr. will be held at 10:30 in South Pasadena. Daggett, who died January 14, was from 1265 Lorain Road and had previously suffered tragedy in the family when their son Arthur perished on the yacht Enchantress off Mazatlan. Dr. John Atwill will officiate.

Multiple Car Crashes Plague San Marino Over Week
An epidemic of car accidents struck San Marino from Wednesday through Sunday with five crashes including a pedestrian injury. William Slayman of Huntington Hotel suffered serious leg and possible skull injuries after being struck on Huntington Drive at Oak Knoll. no fatalities were reported.

Cub Scouting Interest Grows in San Marino Meeting Planned
A preliminary meeting is set for Tuesday January 23 at 8 p.m. at 375 La Mirada Avenue to discuss forming a Cub Scout program in San Marino. Mr. Prescott of the Pasadena-San Gabriel Council will lead the session for parents of boys aged 9 to 12 to learn aims and purposes of the movement.
