Pam Blecksmith 1947 2008 Embodiment of Grace and Courage
Pamela McCormick Blecksmith died January 11 2008 after a three year battle with colon cancer. She leaves three children Christina Alex and James Patrick and a granddaughter Molly. Her life included a White House career Stanford education and extensive community service. Her son 2nd Lt James P Blecksmith was killed in Iraq in 2004.

Police Catch Burglary Suspects in San Marino Case
San Marino Police arrested two burglars caught in the act last Friday after noon. One suspect, Henry Long Tran, 22, of Rosemead, was identified by the victim as his wife's step brother. Chaoyi Lu, 22, of San Gabriel, was detained nearby and arrested. The men entered via a master bedroom window and ransacked the home. The search continues for the so-called hot prow burglar behind seven northern-city break-ins.
